AT&T DSL: I am very displeased with AT&T DSL customer service. FIrst they are very poorly trained I have had nothing but problems with billing and tech support Today I spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to resolve a billing issue. I was disconnected several times. Last month I had a problem with connecting my new cell phone to my modem the first tech support person told me there were no modem settings which was not true and the rep sent me a modem told me it was free when it was not and I did not even need it because after several times contacting tech support I finally spoke someone who was able to help but ended up getting disconnected once again and had to figure things out myself. Back In October my sons birthday I had another issue spoke for a very long time on the phone once again. I thought I was getting a very good deal but only so far has been a constant headache. I would also like to say had I know what I know now I would never agreed to a package or combined bill with Directv and AT&T and was told on the phone by a Directv rep I was just one of very many people with problems. I would like to say AT&T should take a really good look at how Bright house network customer service and tech support works they know what they are doing and are well trained. There is no comparison between the two. I was warned not to go with At&T DSL for the reasons mentioned earlier. There is no reason or excuse for the way I have been treated or to have to spend the amount of time that I have had to spend resolving issues the package in my opinion does not work and is not worth it I would not recommend to anyone to go with At&T DSL service combined with Directv. However Directv has great customer service and and tech support alone I have had no big problems its the relationship or combined billing with AT&T it again is just awful and would not refer anyone to choose this type of combined billing or package. The customer support and tech support is again very poor and not worth it. Hopefully in the future these problems will be resolved I think its a great Idea but does not work
